Independence Park is an exciting addition to the Pearland and the Gulf Coast region, featuring a permanent roofed live performance stage, sloped lawn for up to 3,000 seated families or 7,000 standing concert fans, a 12,000 sq. ft. covered pavilion, and 20-acres of tree-lined open fields. For everyday enjoyment the park includes a playground designed for children of all abilities, professional tennis courts, covered full-size basketball courts, a dog park, and a meandering walking trail beneath towering oaks. Liberty Lawn, Freedom Lawn, and the park Pavilion are available for rent for group activities (birthday parties, celebrations, anniversaries and more) organized play, and corporate events. The stage and lawn can be rented for a variety of purposes by non-profit organizations, schools and corporate planners. Planning a multiday festival? Rent the entire park!
