7/ TEMPERATURE IN THE CUP We independently tested the water temperature in the cup from a kettle, a Pronteau tap and other hot taps on the market. We found only 2 degrees in-cup temperature difference between a kettle and Pronteau due to it’s controlled laminar flow. The in-cup temperature can be significantly reduced if excessive steam is present on dispensing of instant hot water.

Pronteau valve if needed (easily accessible), and we have a comprehensive spares service in-house.

Taps: • Designed to EN200. • All Pronteau taps are passed for 3rd party approval by WRAS and/or KIWA. • Plated to EN248 standards. • Our brand taps undergo extensive quality testing including the following: - Ceramic disc valves tested for 200,000 cycles - Robotic production of parts for complete precision - 100% end of line testing • Our sophisticated hand polishing, plating, powder coating and lacquering techniques are put through thorough testing to ensure optimum performance. This includes: - Salt spray testing for 100 - 200 hours - Surface resistance tests for 200 cycles using varying corrosives (acids, alcohols etc.)

ProBoil boilers: • Our hot water product comply with LVD/ EMC/RoHS standards according to CE and UKCA. • All ProBoil boilers either have WRAS certification or are in preparation for approval. General: • All manufacturing partners are ISO9001 approved. • Principal manufacturing partners are ISO14001 approved or have approval underway. • Principal manufacturing partners are SMETA approved or have approval underway.

When we developed our innovative range of instant hot water taps for launch in 2016 we took into consideration every aspect of safety, not only for the dispensing of the hot water but also the maximum temperature requirements for the stored water in the boiler. This is the main reason our products store water to a maximum temperature of 98°C, as our products are fully compliant with Part G(3) of the UK Building Regulations, and all Pronteau taps, boilers and filters are WRAS approved or WRAS pending.

All two-stage Pronteau taps across pages 10 to 23 include the PROBOIL.2X boiler which has a 2L tank capacity. All Pronteau HotKey® taps across pages 24 to 31 include the PROBOIL.4E boiler which has a 4L tank capacity. Both boilers have the following features: Controllable temperature range which can be set between 75 & 98° via the on screen digital controls Compact stainless steel tank which fits beneath a Belfast or Butler sink

All Pronteau taps and Abode kitchen taps carry a warranty period of 5 years from date of purchase.

These filters are essential to ensure protection of your boiler from scale build up as well as reducing water hardness out of the tap to improve taste and clarity of hot drinks.

WATER REGULATIONS

All products should be installed in accordance with Local Water Bye Laws. Download the Abode specification brochure from www.abodedesigns.co.uk for all products with a current WRAS or KIWA approval. Our PROBOIL boilers store water at a maximum temperature of 98ºC to conform to UK legislative limits. Spout exit temperatures will vary according to environmental changes and usage patterns.
