MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to promote Wisconsin ’ s Whitetails. We will build market recognition of Wisconsin Whitetails, while educating ourselves and others through sharing of information. We will have a collective voice in governmental issues that affect Wisconsin Whitetail growers.
•
Annual meetings will be held in April.
• Membership dues will be for one year, April 1 to April 1.
• Full membership, $50 annually, is open to Wisconsin DATCP licensed deer farms. One license, one membership, one vote.
• Associate membership, $25 annually, is open to any individual who does not hold a DATCP license, but who is involved with or interested in the cervid farming business. This is a non-voting membership.
• The term of officers will be one year, beginning with the annual meeting.
• Board members will serve a three-year term, with no limit on the number of terms. The board consists of nine members. Three board seats will be up for election every year.
• Board meetings will be held at least three times a year. Additional meetings may be called at the discretion of the President. A quorum of five must be present to hold a meeting.
• Board meeting agendas and minutes will be printed in the newsletter.
• The Board reserves the right to deny membership to anyone for unethical behavior and practices.
• Members will receive the newsletter as part of their membership.
