Client: LHA London Ltd – Director of Estates SPECIALISMS SOUGHT: Development, Transaction Management, Residential Development LHA London Ltd is a charity providing affordable accommodation to young people and students living in Central London. To fulfil LHA’s growth ambitions, a Director of Estates post was created to review the existing portfolio and identify opportunities for the disposal and acquisition of new land and assets for development. A headhunt campaign was undertaken by MRG, focussing on the London residential market, and a Development Director from a leading London-based Housing Association was appointed.

The John Whitgift Foundation is a historic charity that provides care and education to the people of Croydon and is also a significant land and property owner in the local area. MRG were appointed to oversee the recruitment to the newly created Estates Director post, tasked with developing the estate strategy to identify the risks and opportunities throughout the investment and operational estate whilst also leading major projects. Following an extensive search and shortlisting process, MRG secured a high- profile property professional from the private sector.
