LNGA
The Lady Niners got off to a fast start in February with the Annual East vs. West Event. Matt Tolan enters the results of the competition, showing that the East (Blue) bested the West (Red). There was quite a turnout as many braved the somewhat chilly air. Even so, a good time was had by all and was finished off with another fine meal from our wonderful culinary staff.
The next event, before the closing ceremony, will be the Member/Member, which will be held on March 10, 2026. This year’s theme is Power Women, and players are invited to dress as their favorite Power Woman, whether she be athletic, musical, artistic, political, etc. The Lady Niners applaud the unique ways our ladies put the themes/decorations/games together to make our golfing experience even more fun. A Big Thank You to Event Chairs and Event Assistants for your hard work in the preparation of all the events we have had since the beginning of the season. Don’t forget to sign up for the LNGA Academy, this month will focus on putting. REMEMBER TO RECORD YOUR SCORES IN GHIN
Following the East vs. West event was the ever-popular LNGA/WGA mixer. This year’s theme coincided with the 2026 Olympics as the participants were dressed in their red, white, and blue. Decorations of country flags, both in the air and on the tables, welcomed the contestants after the competition. Realistic podiums and medals of gold, silver, and bronze rounded out the event.
