Objective: To know the element of “Trial and error”
Toplay:
1. Find a colleague pair in the department.
Play style: Tic tac toe
2. Once chosen, do a rock paper scissors who will be first to play and choose from symbol "X"or "O". 3. Once all colleagues chose the first to play, get the 3x3 grid printer paper and play tic tac toe.
Duration: 10 minutes
Setup: • Indoor • Team
Materials: (1) 3 x 3 grid of squares - printed or digital
• Round1 • Round2 • Round3 • Round 4 (Optional)
Activity Brief: How to win: First to achieve 3 symbols altogether (Vertical, Diagonal, Horizontal) wins! Say: We take pride in high performance and always challenge ourselves to be better as we “ Compete to Win ” .
Note: After the round of trial, open a discussion on winning or loosing/ putting a strategy in the game.
Get answers from the group that focus on determined to win.
Simple game today but very challenging, it’s the classic “ Tic Tac Toe or XOXO ” .
Key Learning: • We are always open to take measured risks and try always to test our ability through experimentation or trial & error. • The XOXO game symbolizes how we always continue even we made some mistakes, how we learn and how we upskill ourselves to be better as we compete in today’s competitive market.
