Objective: To know and listen to the different Happy Birthday songs around the world.
For today’s game, we will play “Guess the Language – Happy Birthday!”
Play style: Guess that Birthday song!
Toplay: 1. Facilitator will play a birthday song. All songs are different languages 2. In teams or individuals, each colleagues will take turn and guess the birthday song from which country or language.
Duration: 5-10 minutes
Setup: • Indoor • Individual or Team
Materials: (1) List of Birthday songs around the world (2) Speaker / Laptop/ Phone
3. Here are the list of countries and guess where is it from.
4. If the answer is incorrect, other team or colleagues can answer.

Key Learning: • One of the colourful joys of life is “Birthday” . In our Shangri-La operations, some of our guests celebrate their birthdays with us; and also, who can miss the birthday cakes in the office for every colleagues’ special day. • We know the feeling of being “cared” and remembering the special moments of our life. This signifies how we become Shangri-La hosts to people, be it our guests or colleagues.

Shangri-La is strategically located in different countries and continents. We host guests from diverse backgrounds that speak in different languages and one main reason they stay with us is to celebrate their Birthday.
Sometimes, we even greet our guests in their own native language.
