Activity 19 – Spin The Bottle
Objective: To challenge the mind of our colleagues, on the food or drinks that we offer.
Toplay:
1. All colleagues to seat next to each other forming a circle.
Play style: Answer and learn
2. The moderator will give a type of guests from the list.
Duration: 10 minutes
Setup: • Indoor • Team
3. The moderator to spin the bottle first. Then when the bottle stop spinning, whoever is in the direction where the bottle points its tip will answer first.
Materials: (1) Empty Wine Bottle (2) List of Guests
4. The questions will evolve around the guest experience in the restaurant with four (4) focus:
• Starter • Drinks • MainDish • Dessert
• Married Couple • Vegan Solo businessman • Mom with two kids • Social Media influencer • Solo guest with allergen on Eggs
4. The first colleague must answer what is the “Starter” based on the guest type. After answering, the colleague to spin the bottle for the recommendation next. 5. The second colleague must recommend the “Main” food to the type of guest followed by third colleague with “Main Dish” then “Dessert” . 6. Facilitator to check if all the answers are correct. Facilitator can also ask answers from other colleagues. Key Learning: • We love to eat and so do the Shangri-La guests. • Knowing the basic information on food and drinks connotes on how we support our “Business” through the food we curate and memorable experiences we deliver.
