Objective: To review the book of Mr. Robert Kuok that is full of insights on “Our Nature”.

Say: Have you read the book - Robert Kuok, a Memoir? Today, we show our respect to the great founder of the Shangri-La Group, Mr. Robert Kuok. The man behind the success of the pioneer of Asian hospitality.

For today’s activity, we will know more about “ Our Founder ” .
Materials: (1) Mr. Robert Kuok book quotes in the PPT
To facilitate: 1. Facilitator to show some of the famous quotes from the book of Mr. Robert Kuok and you must complete the missing word.
Quotes Example: “Be xxxxxxxx ; be straight; don’t be crooked; don’t take advantage of people.” Answer: “Be humble ; be straight; don’t be crooked; don’t take advantage of people.”
2. Each of the quotes has two (2) choice of words, and only one (1) is correct.
3. Moderator to open the discussion of the key message from the quote and relate to “Our Nature” .

Key Learning: • For 50 years, the Shangri-La Group cemented its hospitality presence in the world because of its founder Mr. Robert Kuok living the Shangri-La Culture since the opening in 1971 and still influencing with a good heart shared to everyone up to the present time. • We are guided by the teachings of our founder that evolves on the 6 traits of “ Our Nature ” . These cannot be just through words on how we speak but most important is by our actions, how we treat our guests, colleagues, the community and all the things aroundus.
