Objective: To l earn from one another the importance of “Taking Ownership” to everyone’s role, to the Business, and the future of Shangri-La Group.

Activity Brief: Howtowin: Best idea wins!

Say: To “ Own our Success ” is to take the ownership. We must pledge to succeed individually and think of more ideas to be able to achieve our goals.

Play style: Raise your hand

Duration: 5- 10minutes

Have you heard of the game “Take Ownership” . Here’s the mechanics.

Setup: • Indoor • Team

To facilitate: 1. All participating colleagues or groups will receive a difficult scenario of a guest. 2. The team or the colleague must think of the best possible solution to deliver what is expected.

Materials: (1) List of Work-related Scenarios: Guest and Colleagues • Colleague: You have a scheduled workshop, but all the meeting rooms are fully booked. How will you handle this? • Colleague: You are on morning shift and heard that your colleague in the afternoon shift is sick and will not be able to work. How will you react on this? • Colleague: You are an Engineering colleague and met a guest at the floor asking for extra towel. What will you do? • Guest: You are a Room attendant. The guest in the room mentioned, the wifi is slow. What will you do?

3. Since the scenarios are complex, facilitator to open discussion to other for more ideas.

Key Learning: • To overcome any challenges and achieve business results, we must take ownership. • By taking ownership, we fuel ideas, suggest solutions, improve the way we work and be consistent in everything we do.

• Guest: You’re waiting for the lift, and you saw a wallet at the floow. What will you do?
