Paphos and beyond
With Aphrodite Hills Resort less than 30 minutes from the Cypriot capital of Paphos, there’s plenty to do in the local area for those enjoying a longer stay. Excursions out into the Mediterranean Sea leave regularly from Paphos, with the crystal clear waters here ideal for those that enjoy both snorkelling and diving. We’d also recommend heading to Paphos Castle for a slice of history set out upon the water, as well as a visit to the impressive Tomb of the Kings which date back to the 4th century BC. Cyprus is also well-known as an excellent producer of wine, and so a visit to a local vineyard is an excellent way to spend an afternoon, as is a trip to one of Paphos’ beach - es, notably at Coral Bay or Pissouri Beach. Lastly, we’d be remiss not to again mention the famed Aphrodite’s Rock – after all, it’s the site that gives its name to the entire resort.
