WHAT’S NEW AT DAU
Three New Multi-Functional Courses in Business Financial Management & Auditing The university’s acquisition, business financial manage ment, and auditing colleagues have respectively deployed three new learning assets of interest to the life cycle logis tics, product support, and sustainment members of the ac quisition workforce, including: • ACQ 0750 Data Acquisition— This Online Training (OLT) course is the fourth course in the Intellectual Property and Data Rights series. This course demonstrates how to develop and manage an IP strategy by following the 5-Phase IP Strategy Process. • BFM 0310 RDT&E Budget Exhibits and J-Book Presentation— This OLT course, designed for those who seek to understand how to prepare, read, or interpret Research, Develop ment, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) budget exhibits, uses scenarios to introduce the learner to RDT&E budget ex hibit concepts. • AUD 1010 Cost Accounting Standards Administration and Coverage— In this OLT course, students will learn to recognize the provisions for administration of Cost Accounting Stan dards (CAS) and the general requirements for CAS cov erage. - - The university’s Engineering and Technical Management colleagues recently deployed three new training courses of potential interest to life cycle logistics, product support, and sustainment workforce members. • ETM 1071 Digital Literacy Fundamentals— This foundational OLT course is designed to introduce learners to the essen tial concepts, practices, and tools of digital acquisition and digital engineering. Learners will explore the digital engineering ecosystem, including modeling and simula tion, authoritative sources of truth, and data preserva tion practices. • CYB 0110 Cyber T&E Preparation Considerations— This introductory OLT course is a high-level overview of Cyber Test and Evaluation test preparation. Upon completion, learners will be able to describe key roles and responsibilities for Cyber Test and Evaluation event preparation, describe Cyber Test and Evaluation (T&E) Test Plan requirements, understand Cyber T&E event preparation considerations, and describe Cyber T&E Readiness Review activities. • CYB 0060 Benefits of M&S in Cyber T&E— This introductory OLT course presents a high-level overview of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) from a Cyber perspective and how M&S can be used to support Cyber Test & Evaluation (T&E). Learners will gain the knowledge to describe how and why simulations and synthetic environments are used within Cyber T&E. Three New Digital Literacy Multi-Disciplinary Courses - - - - - - - -
Three New Test & Evaluation- Focused Training Courses
The university’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Cybersecu rity faculty colleagues recently deployed three new training courses of potential interest to the warfighting acquisition and sustainment workforce. • TST 0550 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policies Relevant to Testing— Artificial Intelligence introduces new challenges to T&E, driven by the scope and complexity of system responses to external stimuli. Students will learn federal and de partment-specific policies regarding AI-enabled systems; policies that apply to certain applications of AI, such as autonomous weapon systems; the documents that es tablish these policies; and how these policies affect the practice of T&E. • CYB 0100 Cyber T&E Test Planning Overview. This OLT course will introduce learners to a high-level overview of Cyber T&E test planning, including applicable policies and require ments for Developmental and Operational Cyber Test and Evaluation as well as stakeholder roles and respon sibilities. • TST 0640 Test Planning for AI-Enabled Systems— This OLT course introduces how AI creates new challenges to T&E, driven by the scope and complexity of system responses to ex ternal stimuli. Students will learn how the presence of AI affects test strategy and planning. - - - - - -
