Card of the Week Colette Louise
Although I use the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck for readings, I like to collect Tarot decks and I have a number of them. There is always something to learn in the different illustrations and interpretations. Today I draw from a deck by Kim Krans - The Wild Unknown Tarot . I pulled the 6 of Cups and the creator of this deck describes this card saying: The 6 of cups - Memories - Childhood - Joy A card of beautiful implications, the six of cups focuses on the magic and innocence of childhood. The roots of years past are alight with colour and vibrancy…look back upon them, get lost in your memories. Old friends may surface and seek you out. All reunions will be joyful. Enjoy simple pleasure and wonder in all areas of your life. This week looks to be a week where we immerse ourselves into the festive season. Dinners and activities with old friends and new friends. Running into people you haven’t seen since high school while out shopping or attending holiday concerts and such. Simple pleasures like taking the kids tobogganing or ice skating will bring back memories of a simpler time and simple pleasures. Put the daily worries down for a moment and enjoy a hot chocolate with an old friend. It will recharge your batteries and warm your heart. You won’t have to look far for the magic of the season.
