ABOUT YONDR WHERE WE STARTED Yondr was established by data centre delivery experts who had been working together for about a decade. Yondr was established in 2019, grown from an existing pool of experts who had been working together under the banner of the main contractor, ISG, in delivering hyperscale data centers for about a decade. An opportunity was identified to enter and disrupt a major growth market, and the business began to evolve and expand by recruiting technical experts and keen minds formerly employed by our main clients. The aim was, and still is, to offer them a service that they cannot find anywhere else, explained and provided to them by people who genuinely understand their challenges and the best ways to meet and overcome them.

We design, build and operate data centre facilities. Offering our clients a fully-formed, painless solution to their business needs worldwide.
In the time since beginning this adventure, Yondr have been working hard to consolidate a stable and dynamic operation, build relationships and to refine our business offer. This period has been invaluable in enabling us to confidently enter a new phase of operation in which we expand, and truly deliver on our promise of providing a new standard of service to our customers. This means additional staff, and a growing base of Yondrites across the globe working hard according to the company values and in a way that has built powerful relationships with the biggest players in our market.
As part of this expansion, and the opening of two new hubs in
Singapore and San Francisco, our bids and proposals team is growing, too. We are looking for enthusiastic and driven people with an appetite for a challenge.

We shape the business through positive relationships, developing compelling sales materials and a desire to be the best.
As a start-up, Yondr is still changing and pushing for more, and better, constantly. The bid team is helping to shape the business and design critical components of the sales process. We will own the task of managing large, multi-discipline teams to create submissions to the client which are designed and written to be the very best in any sector - Not just our own. Day-to-day activity will involve developing positive, productive relationships with the entire Americas team, whilst central management will rest with the Client Solutions team in Europe.
What this means for the role is an active and driving role in the delivery of RFP responses, presentations and work-winning collateral, whilst simultaneously being supported from the heart of the business and helping to create and guide our approach. ABOUT THE ROLE KEY ACTIVITIES Effecting a link to our development and sales teams - Bidding does not start when the bid arrives, it is an activity which is largely founded on the considerable hard work which takes place either side of the RFP response stage. You will form close ties with these teams and identify the best ways to ingrain their hard-won knowledge into submissions. Helping to build a team to rival that of any business in the world - We’re aiming to be a major disruptor and to offer a service not found anywhere else. That means having a bid team capable of producing work which plays a role in making this happen. The department is still taking shape and building our approach, so your knowledge, insight and energy contributed in this endeavour will also be invaluable. Creating proposals ranked as the best in the market - A simple statement, and a big commitment. We want our offers to stand out and force the hand of our clients.
Contributing to creativity - You don’t need to be a graphic designer, but you do need to be able to guide the work of creatives and help them to make decisions on how to express our messages on the page. Ability to write and craft language is a must. Coaching, cajoling, guiding, wrangling... - A key component in creating successful bids is assisting busy people to understand their role in the process, and to ensure that they can complete tasks which they will likely find unfamiliar and challenging. This relationship-building and management element is hugely important. Presentations as more than a set of slides - Creating decks at any stage of the process is a key component of our work, but it is the added value which really matters here. Do we have the right messages on the page? Has the team prepared well enough? Will the content simultaneously engage the client and steer the presenter?

ABOUT THE ROLE JOB DESCRIPTION THE ROLE Yondr are looking for a talented bidding professional to join our growing team in the US, and to take up an exciting role in leading our proposals management in the region. Rapidly-evolving businesses require dynamic, enthusiastic staff to drive securing of new work. As Yondr moves and grows rapidly, this is exactly the kind of person that we’re looking for - set to also play an important role in shaping the process and strategy for ways of winning new contracts, now and into the future. The successful applicant will have a track record of creative input into the bid process, writing engaging copy and designing attractive, engaging documents in tandem with designers, all to produce submissions which are compelling and persuasive in the decision-making process. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
/ Work according to marketing and brand guidelines to produce on-message and best-in-market submissions / Work at the front end during development and sales cycles to understand and plan for upcoming opportunities / Review RFP documents and prepare a work schedule, deliverables lists and other required bid collateral / Lead project meetings and produce collateral including notes, actions and next steps / Discuss and agree win strategies with delivery business leads and all other stakeholders / Ensure there is clear communication through to completion / Act as main point of contact for any further information or questions to the client / Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner / Provide coaching and collateral for all RFP-related presentations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
APPLICATIONS Applications should consist of a CV and covering statement outlining key matching experience and rationale for applying for the post.
