THE GRANT AT MISSION TRAILS: EXPANDING HOUSING FOR MILITARY FAMILIES IN SAN DIEGO In 2025, CREA closed on The Grant at Mission Trails, a 47‑unit new construction community in San Diego designed to support current and former U.S. military households. Fourteen of the homes will serve as permanent supportive housing for veterans experiencing homelessness, complemented by onsite services that promote stability and long‑term wellness. Backed by a $25.1MM equity investment, the development will offer family‑focused amenities and convenient access to transit, parks, and neighborhood services. Expected to open in Spring 2027, The Grant will bring much‑needed, service‑oriented affordable housing to a central and growing community in San Diego.
