1917 COLLINS-M c CARTHY & BOSTON STORE MIXED SET
T he set known today as the E135 Collins-McCarthy issue was a 200-card set that used the same design as several regional companies (Boston Store, Standard Biscuit and Weil Bakery). It was Collins-McCarthy’s only non-PCL issue, the cards billed as “Baseball’s Hall of Fame.” The cards are particularly scarce today and include several important rookie cards and a host of Hall of Famers. This catalog features a virtually complete hybrid set, comprised of Boston Store and Collins-McCarthy cards. We have separated them by company; the Collins-McCarthy cards featured here.
