NATURE NESTERS Nature Nesters is a nature-based preschool program designed to engage little minds and bodies as they learn about various topics related to the natural world. Participants can expect to sing songs, make a craft and learn through play. Parents and guardians are required to stay with children throughout the program.

FENWICK FLEDGLINGS Fenwick Fledglings will challenge school-aged children to use critical thinking skills while engaging with the natural world. Participants can expect to take part in experiments while enjoying the outdoors. Parents and guardians are required to stay with children throughout the program.

SCHOOL PROGRAMS Did you know the Delores Fenwick Nature Center offers a variety of educational programs for schools? All Field Trip and Outreach programs are developmentally appropriate, TEK-aligned and designed to foster curiosity about the natural world. Whether you are bringing your students to us or we’re bringing the nature to you, these programs are sure to be un-frog-gettable. Our programs cover a variety of seasonal topics that will keep your child wanting more science. Participants can expect a mix of indoor and outdoor educational lessons and experiments that merge other content areas, like writing and math, with science.

WILD HOUR WEDNESDAY Join Edu-Katie for Wild Hour Wednesday at each of the Pearland area libraries. This family-friendly storytime includes a nature-related lesson, story and small craft. This is a free program, and no registration is required to attend.
