CAMP PELICAN The Pearland Environmental Learning Institute for Conservation, Adventure and Nature! These specialty, nature-themed camps are designed to bring children closer to nature and foster a further love and understanding of the natural world. Each day of these week-long camps is filled with exploration and educational lessons about Texas wildlife, habitats and more! Programs are designed to be developmentally appropriate, and participants must be of the ages listed by the first day of camp. $160 resident / $200 non-resident DFNC Monday - Friday

ROCKIN’ REPTILES: Snake supporters and lovers of Texas horned lizards, get ready for heaps of herpetology during this week’s camp, Rockin’ Reptiles! Throughout the week, campers will plunge into all things reptile to reveal the truth about snake venom, discover the secrets inside a turtle’s shell and more! HOME SWEET HOME : Whether they live in the desert, a forest or even deep inside a cave, all animals have what it takes to survive. During this week of camp, we’ll be exploring habitats from around the globe and learning about unique animal adaptations that help animals survive in the harshest of habitats. MASTERS OF DISGUISE : Now you see them, now you don’t! We’ll be exposing the secrets behind animal camouflage in this week’s camp, Masters of Disguise. Campers will categorize the types of camouflage used throughout the animal kingdom, reveal the purpose it serves and more.
