FIELD TRIPS The KAC organizes several field trips a month, in Pearland and beyond. Past trips have included Astros games, a Galveston Dolphin Tour, Santa’s Wonderland in College Station, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, bowling and much more! KAC membership is required to participate. $5 van fee, plus admission fee of trip and other expenses 50+ years Melvin Knapp Activity Center
FITNESS CLASSES Whether you are looking to begin your fitness journey or maintain healthy habits as you grow older, there is a class for you at the Melvin Knapp Activity Center! Classes range from low-impact Sit & Be Fit to high- energy Zumba and everything in between, including Yoga, Line Dancing, Ballroom Dancing, Cardio Dance, Tai Chi and Walking Club. KAC membership is required to participate. Free 50+ years Melvin Knapp Activity Center ACTIONS INC. OF BRAZORIA COUNTY Lunch is the only meal served at the center and is provided by ActionS of Brazoria County. Those wishing to utilize the lunch program must be approved through ActionS before they can receive meals. Lunches are served Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. Hot lunches must be consumed on the premises and may not be taken out of the Knapp Activity Center.
