FACTORY OBSCURA If you are looking for a completely out of-this- world experiential immersion, then visiting Factory Obscura is a must. There is nothing else quite like it. This hands-on exhibition is meant to take you into another dimension, one that uses all your senses. Factory Obscura will spark a sense of wonder through new media environments of sights, sounds and all the feels. The current iteration, Mix-Tape, is the first permanent installation of its kind in OKC. Factory Obscura is not just an expression of love to the community, but also built by the community itself.
State Capitol
A tour of the Oklahoma State Capitol is a must for any art, history or civics buff. The historic building, which completed a full restoration in 2022, is home to hundreds of pieces of artworks located throughout the six floors. Guided tours led by trained volunteer docents are available at no cost and last 45 minutes. They are open every weekday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. If those times don’t work, request a tour time online.
