2024 Official OKC Visitors Guide

BRICKTOWN WATER TAXI AND CENTENNIAL LAND RUN MONUMENT As a popular Bricktown attraction for more than 20 years, the water taxi takes visitors down the Bricktown Canal at a leisurely pace, while the guide narrates the history of the canal and surrounding businesses. Along the ride, visitors pass the Land Run Monument and learn some Oklahoma history. Created by Native artist and multiple award winner Paul Moore, the monument is 45 figures depicting participants in the 1889 opening of The Unassigned Lands. Rather than create static poses, Moore imbued his sculptures with energy and emotion.
