If you’ve been unsure about entering, here’s encouraging words from the Home Is Where the Art Is Work Group – 2024 Home is Where the Art Is Competition is underway Home Is Where the Art Is, is, all about sharing, connecting, and inclusivity. It’s an opportunity to be inspired by other residents and feel a sense of pride and community. The competition is rewarding and eye-opening for all. Our work group meets monthly to discuss and plan the competition. Our knowledge and understanding are vital to making our events shine.
Victorian Resident Advisory Committee (VRAC)
VRAC has been exceptionally busy the past few months. For the first time the committee is at capacity with 12 extraordinary members. Welcome to new members Tadros and Margaret. VRAC looks forward to the lived experience you bring to the committee. Members reformed a work group, and is producing a first, communications guidelines document. That includes recommendations about how Housing Choices staff write different correspondence and communicate to residents. For example, Home Stories , letters, publications and policy. Members came together in June to enjoy their annual mid-year luncheon. It’s one way Housing Choices acknowledge the committee's contributions and is opportunity for members to socially come together.
