ON THE COVER: A 1934 Waco S3HD, shot by professional aviation photog- rapher Leonardo Correa Luna (Insta: @leomoon74photography). John Ricci- otti’s 1934 Waco S3HD is a rare beauty, the only one of this model ever pro- duced. While it’s not currently for sale, if you bump into John and ask him for a ride, he’s likely to oblige. When this Waco isn’t out flying, it spends its days entertaining friends and visitors at Poplar Grove (C77) in Illinois, where it is in excellent company among many rare birds.
