Dear Friends, Fellow Cattlemen & Cattlewomen, Welcome to the first annual REAL WORLD PRINCIPLES Bull Sale on February 20, 2026, at Stockman’s Livestock in Yankton, SD. I would like to extend a very sincere thank you for your interest in our programs. It is truly humbling. A word about my program... I’ve always had the mindset of real cows in the real world creating real value. That is how I have attempted to breed this cow herd using old line reliable, maternal angus genetics, using Rito, Emulation, Emulous and Bandolier (Traveler) lines. I feel these genetics accomplish the Real World mindset, no chasing fads or the latest name bull with the big time EPD numbers. These older genetics produce an Angus cow that goes out year after year puts her head down, does her job problem free and drags a nice calf in at weaning time. The bulls have been grouped together at my place since last April, they have been developed on a high roughage diet. By doing so, we have attempted to develop the bulls at a slower rate and not push them hard like feedlot cattle by over-feeding and hindering scrotal development. This in turn prevents us from burning them out, destroying their feet and their ability to move freely and breed cows. It has been interesting caring for and feeding the bulls every day, watching them grow and mature. Please feel free to come evaluate the offering. • Act BW 77lb, AdJ WW 590lb/ratio. Dam 11 calves with 379 day calving interval • Actual Scrotal - 37 cm • A definite heifer bull prospect, with true calving ease stacked on both sides of his pedigree. 301 is a nice blend of OCC genetics including; Emanciate, Echelon, and Prestige on the top side. Crossed onto the bottom is a beautifully uddered NBAR Shadow x Ext x N Bar Prime Time D806 cow. • This bull has the age to go out and handle a large group of heifers or cows. I used him last year on a select group of my cows. He will be trich tested prior to the sale.
