She is an assistant professor at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) where she teaches Philippine History, Philippine Government and Constitution, and Rizal Course. She graduated from the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters with Bachelor of Arts major in Asian Studies and obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching History with required units in Oriental Religions and Cultures from the UST Graduate School. She was the coordinator for the Social Science Area of the Basic Education Department of the UST College of Commerce and Business Administration. She is an active member of the Organization of Social Science Educators of the Philippines, Philippine National Historical Association, and Philippine Historical Association. MYRNA M. DE VERA She is an assistant professor at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) where she handles history subjects like Philippine History, Rizal Course, Contemporary World Geography, World History, and some major courses in the Asian Studies Department. She graduated from the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters with a Bachelor of Arts major in Asian Studies and completed the academic requirements for MA Oriental Religions and Cultures from the UST Graduate School. She obtained her MA in History from De La Salle University (with distinction). At present, she is working on her dissertation for her PhD major in Southeast Asian Studies at the Centro Escolar University. She is an active member of the Organization of Social Science Educators of the Philippines, Philippine National Historical Association, and Philippine Historical Association. JANET C. ATUTUBO
