POLICY AUTHENTICATION – FORM 39-06
The 2021 ALTA Owner’s and Loan Policies explicitly include coverage for policies issued electronically or lacking a signature, so the ALTA 39 endorsement is moot for the 2021 policies, even though ALTA has not de-certified it at this time. The following language appears on Schedule A of both the Owner’s and Loan Policies: ‘This policy, when issued by the Company with a Policy Number and the Date of Policy, is valid even if this policy or any endorsement to this policy is issued electronically or lacks any signature.
