CCHA Annual Report for Residents 2023-24

Our homes and communities

We will offer our residents a safe, high quality home that is affordable, in a place that they are proud to live. We will invest our resources wisely to achieve this.

OUR AIM:

Independent living This year, the Independent Living team has focussed on letting empty properties and making further improvements to our processes so that residents are even safer in their homes. They have worked with colleagues to improve fire safety in our buildings and have been working hard to make sure we are ready for the digital switchover when it happens. Key statistics for the year: Homes allocated 99 Wellbeing calls to residents 55,250

Home ownership The Home Ownership team have had a busy year, attending new build sign ups and completing pre-sale interviews. This allows our customers to make informed decisions and helps us to build trust from the very start of the customer journey. We’re approaching the final stages of procuring a new Careline response service for our leaseholder homes with telecare services, as part of a wider project. This will give leasehold residents the flexibility of an ‘opt-out’ service while still complying with the terms of the lease. This will be greatly welcomed by our leaseholders and provide a potential reduction in service charges.
