How can the Club better meet the needs of people in their 40-50s? I believe that, for people in our 40s and 50s, we are focused on spending quality time with family and friends. Growing our network is also a fun way to meet people from different backgrounds. Personally, I think it would be good to have more golfing activities such as zone competitions. With digitalisation happening across industries, I’m glad that the Club is also embracing digital transformation to attract new members. What was your motivation for joining TGC as a member?

of my career. I was assisting my husband in running his cafe and barely had time to explore TGC’s facilities. I decided to rejoin in 2018 and have been enjoying my membership ever since. How does a TGC membership fit with your lifestyle? My lifestyle has changed after rejoining TGC. As a member of the Management Committee, I network and meet people from various professions with varying types of knowledge, which is interesting. Because I am older, facilities like the gym, sauna, and spa pool are my favourite places to unwind and have some personal time.

When I decided to join as a member, it was mainly for club activities and networking opportunities but TGC also offers fantastic facilities. I bring my kids swimming every week and we always have a terrific time at TGC and SPGG, the affiliate club! What’s the best part of being a TGC member? How can the Club better meet your needs?

Having a Halal-certified restaurant on the premises is great though I do wish it is as vibrant and active as the other cafes that are open every day. People in my age group are often grandparents with childcare responsibilities. It can be challenging when children are not allowed to enter certain facilities. I would love to see the Club becoming even more family- friendly.
