Student Success Program (BSSP) The Building Lasting African Culture and Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K.) Student Success Program (BSSP) at Oakton empowers Black students by addressing the unique challenges and celebrating the triumphs of the Black experience in higher education. BSSP provides a supportive community that promotes enrollment, retention and academic success through cultural celebrations, critical conversations, help with gaining access to financial resources, mentoring, and equity and inclusion leadership training.
