DODGE CITY AREA CHAMBER RECOGNIZES AMBASSADORS AND NAMES DYLAN RATTS AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR

The Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce is recognizing its Chamber Ambassadors for their continued service and dedication to supporting local businesses and strengthening connections throughout the community. The Ambassador team plays a key role in welcoming new members, celebrating milestones at ribbon cuttings, engaging members at Chamber Coffees, and assisting with Chamber programs and events throughout the year. Chamber Ambassadors serve as an extension of the Chamber, often acting as the first point of contact for members and guests at events. Their presence helps create a welcoming environment for networking, relationship-building, and community involvement. As the Chamber prepares for its Annual Golf Tournament in April, Ambassadors are also actively supporting event planning efforts by assisting with promotion, volunteer coordination, and outreach that helps ensure a successful tournament for Chamber members and sponsors. DYLAN RATTS NAMED CHAMBER AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR As part of the recognition, the Chamber announced Dylan Ratts, Key Accounts Coordinator at Victory Electric Cooperative, as the Chamber Ambassador of the Year. Ratts has served as a Chamber Ambassador since September 2023. Encouraged by coworkers at Victory Electric Cooperative, he joined the Ambassador program to connect with local businesses and gain firsthand insight into the community they serve. He is a familiar face at ribbon cuttings, monthly coffees, and Chamber networking events, and is also involved with the Chamber’s Young Professionals group. Ratts said he values Dodge City’s welcoming people and the community’s balance of small-town charm with big-city amenities. His favorite Chamber event is the Annual Banquet, which he says celebrates the community’s accomplishments. Outside of Chamber involvement, Ratts enjoys golfing, cheering on the Chiefs, attending NASCAR races, and spending time with his wife exploring local restaurants and area attractions
