Field Angus LLC - Annual Production Sale [4/12/26]

It is our pleasure to invite you to our inaugural bull and female sale here at the farm east of Erhard MN on April 12th. This might be our first sale, but we are definitely not new to the Angus world. The farm was founded in 1913 by Eugene and Marie Field and currently has the fourth, fifth, and sixth generations heavily involved in day-to-day operations. There have been plenty of changes on the farm throughout the last 113 years, but cattle have always been an integral part. Over the last 35 years the focus of the cattle operation has been solely on Angus genetics. During the last two decades, we have been marketing bulls and females through our own annual private treaty offering. The cattle market continues to reward cattlemen almost weekly with new record-high prices. We are truly blessed to raise Angus cattle in the country known for its quality of beef. Our breeding program is built on a steady, proven approach rather than trends, with a clear goal of producing practical, high-performing cattle for dedicated cattlemen who earn their living marketing pounds. Enhancing customer profitability drives every decision we make. We prioritize performance, docility, and maternal strength, placing special importance on the cow herd and the core traits that impact the bottom line – fertility, durability, fleshing ability, and maternal efficiency. We appreciate the long-standing partnerships we have built with progressive commercial producers, whose success continues to speak for our program through top-selling feeder calves and high-value replacement females. Please take time to evaluate the set of bulls and females. You will drive the wheels off your pickup looking for a more consistent set from top to bottom. All bulls and females are AngusGS tested for enhanced EPD profiles and parentage verification as well and all performance data. We stand behind these cattle 100% and offer sight-unseen guarantee. The heifers are right from the heart of our replacement pen; and if we had more pasture, they would all be staying. To help set up the next generation of cattle producers, we have decided to give away Lot 48 to a youth who attends the sale with a successful bidder. This heifer’s dam is a maternal sister to Lot 2 in the sale, who is a breeding achievement for our program. We understand that life happens, and with the timing of our sale there could potentially be producers who are in the field. If you are unable to make it to the farm on sale day, the sale will be broadcast on DVAuction as well. The Sixth generation of Fields enjoy the cattle as much as Grandpa Bill and Grandma Karen, so rest assured that we can be your seedstock source for many years to come. Please reach out to any one of us if you have questions about the offering, and we look forward to seeing you all on sale day. It is definitely worth the wait!
