Withdrawal within the first two weeks of class: 1. Tuition - full tuition less $50.00 ($25.00 for part-time students). 2. Fees - full refund (where applicable). 3. Board - pro-rated as of the end of the week in which the meal ticket is returned to the Student Financial Services Office. 4. Room - pro-rated as of the end of the month in which the student withdraws. (Pro-rated by the week if room is re-rented before the end of that month). Withdrawal after the first two weeks and before the end of the eighth week of classes: 1. Tuition - pro-rated as of the end of the week in which the student withdraws. 2. Fees - pro-rated refund (where applicable).
3. Room - same as above. 4. Board - same as above. Withdrawal after the eighth week of classes: 1. Tuition - no refund. 2. Fees - pro-rated refund (where applicable).

Tuition refunds for class changes (where applicable) will be made in the same manner as refunds for withdrawals (i.e. -full refund within the first two weeks of classes and a pro-rated refund after the second week until the end of the eighth week). All refunds must be requested by properly completing and submitting a Depar ture Card or Class Change Form, as appropriate. The official withdrawal or date of class change will determine the amount of refund. TYPICAL COSTS The combination of tuition, fees, and associated expenses at Rosemead is sufficiently high that it is necessary for students to carefully calculate their financial resources and costs.
