Students who pre-register and fail to notify the registrar that they do not plan to enroll for that semester, or simply do not complete registration, forfeit the $100. The Registrar must be notified by July 31 that the student does not plan to enroll for the fall semester and by December 31 that the student does not plan to enroll for the spring semester. Whether an individual is a new or a continuing student who has pre-registered, it is important that Rosemead be informed of any change in plans regarding enrollment. STANDARDS OF CONDUCT Biola College serves a broad spectrum of evangelical churches among which there are differences of opinion as to what practices are acceptable for Chris tians. A student of Rosemead is expected to conduct himself according to the highest Christian standards of honesty, integrity, responsibility and love to ward his brethren in Christ. In harmony with the principles of Romans 14, l Corinthians 10 and 13, and 2 Corinthians 6, the rule by which he lives is the diligent attending of God's standards and the conscious protection of his Christian testimony. Rosemead is for earnest Christians who are sensitive to the many principles of Christian living that are found in the Bible. Biola College imposes certain specific guidelines for the conduct of faculty, staff and students. Although such regulations cannot improve upon our stand ing in Christ, they can strengthen the life and testimony of both the individual and the school. To this end, Biola expects its faculty staff and students to refrain from the use of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and from gambling and dancing. Further, Biola deplores the morally degrading elements that are now found in all forms of the theatre, the entertainment media, and literature. Members of the Biola community are expected to abstain from all aspects of such that morally degrade. Biola does not presume to be a censoring agency for all activities; it does, however, expect tangible evidence of maturing Christian convictions and discerning judgment. PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND CONDUCT The academic programs at Rosemead are designed to prepare a student for licensure (on the doctoral level) by the professional licensing boards of the various states. Because of the professional nature of Rosemead's programs, it is expected that students will maintain the standards of the psychological profession. The definition of professional competence and conduct is a right which Rosemead Graduate School of Professional Psychology reserves to itself through the judgment of those professionals who constitute its faculty and administration. Rosemead requires its students to adhere to the spirit and intent of those documents which define the ethical standards of the American Psychological Association for professional psychologists and for those who do psychological research. Students are further required to adhere to the laws and regulations of the State of California which regulate the activities of providers of psychologi cal services. Those students who do not meet the professional and ethical standards of Rosemead'sprograms are liable to termination from the program.
