Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology Catalog: 1979-1980

THE INTERMEDIATE MASTERS DEGREE All students entering doctoral programs, regardless of previous graduate study, will take the Rosemead intermediate Master of Arts degree. The same requirements regarding transfer credit will apply in all cases to every student regardless of previous graduate study or degrees (see under Degree Require ments). VETERANS As an integral part of Biola College, Inc., Rosemead Graduate School of Professional Psychology is approved as a degree-granting institution for the attendance of veterans under Title 38, United States Code. This includes the programs covered in Chapters 31, 34, and 35 of Title 38, relating also to the education of disabled veterans and war orphans. Veterans or dependents of veterans who plan to enroll in Rosemead are urged to contact the Veterans Secretary in the Biola College, Inc. Office of Admis sions and Records well in advance of registration so that the necessary ar rangements may be made with the Veterans Administration. CHANGE OF REGISTRATION A student who finds it necessary to drop or to add a course must obtain the proper form from the Registrar. A student who drops a course without fulfilling this requirement will receive a "UW" in the course. A charge of $2.00 is made for any change in registration. A course may be dropped without penalty during the first twelve weeks of classes. A student may add a class during the first two weeks of the semester. Beyond that time courses cannot be added without the approval of the student's advisor and the Registrar. If a course is dropped during the first six weeks of classes, it will not be recorded on the student's permanent record. Courses dropped between the sixth and thirteenth week of classes will have a grade of "W" recorded. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAM A student who officially withdraws from Rosemead during a semester will receive a grade of "W"in all courses if withdrawal is no later than the end of the twelfth week of class. Otherwise, a grade of "UW"or "F"will be given. A student who withdraws may be granted honorable dismissal provided that he has met all his financial obligations to the College, has secured from the Registrar and completed all forms required for withdrawal, and is in good standing at the time. A student who withdraws without completing the proper procedures with the Registrar will not receive a refund of any portion of his tuition or fees, and will receive a grade of "UW"in each course. If he has no financial obligations to the College, a transcript ofhis work will be sent to another school upon request.
