Riverside Mechanical celebrates its 20th anniversary
Starting out 20 years ago as a small family firm, Riverside Mechanical Ltd has since evolved into one of Ireland’s leading mechanical and maintenance contractors. Based in Dublin, the thriving business services a diverse range of sectors and high-profile projects around Leinster and beyond. Founded by Executive Director Derek Brennan, Riverside Mechanical is now led by Managing Director Tony Ptohopoulos. With extensive experience in the UK, continental Europe and Middle East, Tony was headhunted to lead Riverside Mechanical’s major projects division, including its
flagship design-and-build project at Sport Ireland’s National Indoor Arena in Blanchardstown. A focus on availability, flexibility and a quality service throughout projects from start to finish has enabled the business to establish long-term relationships with its partners and clients, with repeat business constituting a substantial proportion of its workload. “We work across all sectors from apartment blocks to schools, healthcare and sports and leisure,” said Tony. “Riverside Mechanical can service any project needing mechanical services.” With the award-winning National Indoor Arena project putting the business on the map, a raft
of further high-profile projects followed. “We’ve completed multiple 1,000- unit apartments and many schools over the last 20 years and are currently finishing a notable project at the Shackleton Museum in Athy. “Riverside Mechanical is making inroads in Ireland, the UK and continental Europe with continued, sustainable growth over the last 20 years focused on maintaining our client base and exploring new opportunities. “We have a very strong offer with Riverside Mechanical’s construction team complemented by its maintenance division, Reliance, which is steadily developing its own client base.”
