Recognising a heat pump model for its outstanding performance, innovation and energy efficiency in Ireland, judges assess factors such as innovation, technology, performance, design, customer feedback and support from Irish distribution partners. Innovative Product of the Year Open to manufacturers, this category looks at development, innovation and performance of products for the domestic market. Judges will look for efficiency, environmental credentials and demonstration of commercial success in the marketplace. PEOPLE AWARDS Apprentice of the Year To be eligible, apprentices must be enrolled in a recognised SOLAS-approved apprenticeship training programme and fully employed by a certified gas or plumbing and heating firm. Unsung Hero This category recognises an individual within the plumbing and heating industry who makes a substantive contribution to their company, local community or charity. Ireland’s Plumber of the Year Open to sole trader plumbers in the domestic sector, entries are judged on a presentation showcasing a wide range of skills, solutions to challenging domestic projects completed in Ireland within the last two years, and efforts to promote eco-friendly plumbing and heating. Lifetime Achievement Award Recognising an individual who has enhanced the plumbing and heating sector in Ireland through their dedication and tireless hard work, going above and beyond to enrich the industry and the people around them. how to enter The entry form is easy to complete, simply select your category/ categories, fill in and return.
