Reinforcing a commitment to expanding its footprint in Ireland, Conex Bänninger has appointed Paul Fagan as regional technical sales manager. Paul brings extensive experience in business development, having worked across multiple sectors including steel, plumbing and heating. In his previous role, he successfully led a sales team covering both Ireland and the UK, driving growth and opening new sales channels for a diverse range of products. “I’m excited to be joining Conex Bänninger at such a dynamic time for both the company and the Irish market,” said Paul. “The construction market in Ireland is currently very active, with strong demand driven by high-density developments, urban regeneration and a growing focus on sustainable housing. roles at Bosch, Hans brings a wealth of valuable industry experience including technical and product sales and managing teams, including his most recent role as head of industrial sales for the UK & Ireland. With his strong technical background, proven sales expertise and effective people management skills, Hans will lead Ariston’s area sales and pre-sales teams, driving increased sales turnover and improved profitability for the business. Hans’ previous positions saw him managing long sales cycles, common within multi-million- pound industrial projects, while dealing with multiple stakeholders with various interests. Bringing this knowledge, he is ideally placed to manage Ariston’s sales to provide short-term results as well as a long-term pipeline. After studying mechanical and industrial engineering at the Universidad Del Valle de Guatemala, Hans completed an MBA which included a week at Harvard Business School. www.ariston.com Hans Bahnsen.
HPC GROUP APPOINTS DEREK CASEY TO ITS BOARD
Derek Casey has joined the Board of HPC Group, assuming responsibility for the management, direction and growth of its vibrant heating and plumbing business. With ambitious plans in place to further develop and grow this key part of the HPC business in the years ahead, Derek will manage expansion through its existing and planned additional PH Ross branches and heating and plumbing departments across its T J O’Mahony stores. Sean Moran, HPC CEO, said, “Derek has worked with the group since 2008 and has extensive experience and knowledge of heating and plumbing and the wider builders’ merchant industry. “We are delighted he has agreed to join the Board and we are both excited and confident that he will make a valuable contribution to the growth and success of our business in the years ahead.” Derek began his career in the plumbing industry in August 1993 with Heat Merchants before joining HPC Group in 2008.
