A quick glance at some of the wonderful work that our clinicians, researchers, friends and supporters have been up to over the last few months.

Cotswold Challenge
I cannot begin to describe how fortunate we are that we have professional clinicians and researchers that are prepared to ‘do their bit’ when it comes to fundraising. It would be oh so easy for the teams that we support to just sit back and gratefully receive our funding, but nothing could be further from the truth with our wondrous group. Entirely typical of this support is Dr Nicola Annels and her team at the University of Surrey. In June, this intrepid bunch formed ‘The Prostate Pilgrims’ to take on, and safely complete the Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge, a 50 km trek. At the time of writing, the ‘Pilgrims’ have raised £3,705.00 with donations still coming in, with every penny raised going directly to help fund their work into developing new immunotherapy treatments for men with advanced prostate cancer. I hope the team enjoyed some relaxing down time following the event, and that there weren’t too many blisters to show. I’m sure you would like to join me in saying well done and thank you to the ‘Invincible 10’.
