INTRODUCTION
Thesis Thesis is designed to empower mobility and flexibility, delivering seamless access to power in any setting. With its high-wattage battery, Thesis is equipped to charge multiple devices and support multiple users at once, making it an essential solution for collaborative and hybrid spaces. It’s innovative stackable design allows up to five units to recharge wirelessly on top of one another, removing the need for a separate charging base or access to extra outlets. With three USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and a 15W wireless charger, Thesis offers plenty of options to keep phones, tablets, and even laptops powered. Benefits • Brings cordless charging to the middle of the room– allowing users to break away from the wall and charge their devices as needed • Provides charging options for hard to reach places– powering the powerless spaces whether it’s for individuals or collaborative teams • Can charge multiple devices at once, including multiple laptops, tablets and phones • Sleek design allows for easy carrying

BATTERY CAPACITY
10 AMP HOURS 21.6 VOLTS 216 WATT HOURS
Electricity, at its core, is made up of two (2) components – Voltage, measured in Volts (V), and Current, measured in Amperes (A). Amperes, or Amps, are commonly referred to on a time basis in Amp-Hours (Ah). For example, a battery with a 1Ah capacity should be able to continuously deliver 1A of current to a device for one full hour. This same battery could also deliver 2A of current for 1/2hr (30m), or 1/3A for 3hrs, etc. When you multiple those values together, V x A, you get Power, measured in Watts (W). Similarly, when you multiple V x Ah, you get Power in a time-basis, measured in Watt-hours (Wh). This is the primary unit of measure that we use when discussing battery systems—taking into consideration different battery chemistries and level-sets— in order to have a singular comparison measurement.

BATTERY CHARGING CAPABILITIES
LED Battery Display What do the LEDs indicate? While charging, the LEDs will cycle through the lights to indicate the level of the charge. Starting with 1 and stopping at the charge level. Each light in the cycle accounting for 25% of a fully charged battery. *Note: Once the battery reaches 100% Charge the LED Light will stop blinking and remain solid.

A fully charged 216Wh battery is capable of charging 3-4 laptops from 20% to 80%. The time to charge a typical office laptop (60W) is about 1-2 hours. Thesis can charge (from 0-100%) about 18-21 average sized smart phones, 12-15 larger smart phones/small tablets, or about 6 larger tablets. The time to charge a typical smartphone (20W) is about 1-2 hours. About our Lithium-ion batteries The Li-ion battery was chosen not only for it’s large capacity and compact size, but also for the convenience of charging speeds. The battery technology excels at fast charging, and also maintains integrity over many usage cycles.

END OF LIFE
Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries should be recycled since they are made with “critical resources”, meaning that they contain resources that are depletable and non-replaceable. By not recycling these batteries, these resources are lost. On top of this, the EPA heavily recommends that these batteries are not put in the trash or in municipal (plastic, cardboard) recycling bins due to safety and environmental concerns. The EPA offers sources to locate or determine all Li-ion battery recycling options on their website.

BATTERY SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS
Thesis boasts a whopping 216 watt hour lithium ion battery – which is great for charging – but also means there are specific shipping requirements. This battery is classified as UN 340 Lithium ion battery – Class 9. Per the U.S. Department of Transportation and International Air Transportation Authority, if you plan to re-ship your battery unit you will need appropriate 49 CFR 172.704 training and paperwork for a Class 9 Fully Regulated shipment. To help you get through this process as smoothly and quickly as possible this link will provide you with the proper training on labeling requirements and how to safely ship a lithium ion battery. We’ve also partnered with Eduwhere to offer a discounted rate on the required training class that we can share with you - https://www.eduwhere.com/portal/index.php?gc=byrne Once your training is complete, your desired shipping carrier will provide additional guidance and paperwork that needs to go along with the shipment. Please note, the package from Byrne will arrive with the proper Class 9 label on the box for ground transportation, you will need new paperwork for re-shipment.
