New grant for urban greenspace creation The Green Cities Foundation (GCF) has a new grant program to support the creation and restoration of urban Grant details: Greenspaces are vital for creating healthier and more resilient communities by:

• Grant amount: Up to $150,000. • Eligibility: This grant is for greenspace projects that will be completed in 2025. • The grant provides up to 50 per cent matching funds through cash, in-kind material and/or labour donations to support selected projects. • Each project will be evaluated based on its alignment with the Foundation’s mission and the benefits it brings to the local community.

• Slowing down climate change. • Managing stormwater areas. • Providing local wildlife with habitat essential to their survival. • Increasing individual mental and physical well-being.
