GOLF RULES/REMINDERS U.S.G.A. Rules of Golf and the following local rules will govern play: OUT OF BOUNDS: Defined by nearest inside points of white stakes and curbs. Note: A ball which crosses a public road is defined as out of bounds or comes to rest beyond that road is out of bounds, even though it may lie on another part of the course.
PENALTY AREAS: All water on the course is to be treated as a Lateral Penalty area. (marked by red stakes)
OBSTRUCTIONS: Pump houses are considered immovable obstructions. Drop ball within one club-length of the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole, no penalty (Rule 16.1b). (Exception = Hole #6, #9, #14, #15, and #18). FLOWER BEDS/LANDSCAPE AREAS: These areas are considered ground under repair from which play is prohibited. If the player’s ball lies in the area or interferes with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing, the player must take relief under (Rule 16.1b). YARDAGES MEASURED TO CENTER OF GREEN. FRIENDLY REMINDERS: Repair at least 2 ball marks on the green, rake bunkers and tap your shoes off after leaving the bunker and fill all divots with sand and seed. Make sure to check in at the Pro Shop prior to playing. Update your family guest list in the Pro Shop at the beginning of season.
