THE POWER OF DELIVERING MORE. Over the past five decades, our associates have built a unique culture of giving back to our communities – and in the process established an extraordinary tradition of helping those in need.
We refer to these efforts as Delivering More – coming together as a team to do good in the world. “Delivering More” means bringing compassion, caring, and support to our neighbors, communities, kids, and planet. Whether through financial contributions, community volunteering, uniform recycling, or environmental advocacy, our associates take an active role in bettering the world around them. Since 1986, Averitt has donated over $14 million to charity – most of it contributed by our associates. Last year alone, associates raised $1,200,001 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through our nonprofit organization Averitt Cares for Kids. Also last year, our associates contributed over 10,400 hours of community service and helped over 220 organizations through our Team Up Community Challenges. (That’s more than 4,000 hours over our previous record set in 2021.) These programs and others exemplify Averitt’s commitment to giving back to our communities.
Because even though we’re a transportation company, our primary cargo is caring.
That’s what Delivering More is all about.
