LABOR DAY CREEKBALL CELEBRATION
Frenchman’s Creek hosted a special Labor Day Creek Ball event, bringing together 11 members for a lively morning on the courts. The matches were filled with long rallies, teamwork, and laughter—making it a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday. Even in the hot and humid South Florida weather, players’ enthusiasm kept the energy high and the matches exciting. Beyond the competition, the event shined a spotlight on the camaraderie and community spirit that Creekball continues to foster at Frenchman’s Creek.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the morning such a success. We look forward to many more Creekball gatherings ahead! - Paulo Hexsel
2025–26 RACQUET SPORTS SEASON AT FRENCHMAN’S CREEK
Our racquet sports program is entering an exciting phase of growth. Ten new Har-Tru tennis courts are now open for play, and by October, two of our legacy courts will be transformed into six Creek Ball courts. Looking ahead, ten additional hard-court pickleball courts are planned for the spring, expanding the ways members can enjoy the game. The bocce courts remain a favorite gathering spot, offering a relaxed setting for friendly competition and social connection. To further enrich the experience, we’re also arranging outings to nearby padel clubs, giving members the chance to explore one of the fastest-growing racquet sports.

THE CLUBHOUSE CORNER THE LADIES CARD ROOM & LOCKER ROOMS
Playing cards or drawing and discarding Mah Jongg tiles have become two extremely popular pastimes for the ladies here at Frenchman’s Creek. What makes these hobbies so popular? They are the perfect blend of strategy, conversation and relaxation. And now, with the planned Clubhouse opening, there is a brand-new ladies card room set for the new season. The ladies card room is a state-of-the-art card room downstairs on the lower level of the Clubhouse. Within this large ladies card room is a door that leads straight to the ladies locker room and bathrooms. The interior of the ladies locker room and bathrooms is stunning, and the lockers are in and offer ample space for belongings. The sinks look beautiful and timeless. Within the card playing room is a large back wall dedicated to having amenities available. And for the ladies who aren’t playing cards on a particular day, there is a seating area where they can come and relax, watch some television and enjoy some snacks. When it’s time to arrange to play a card or tile game, the Concierge Desk will be able to help coordinate, and ensure the space is comfortable and snack offerings enjoyable. The Concierge Desk can be reached at 561.622.8300. Ladies who play cards aren’t just shuffling decks and counting points. They’re building friendships, sharing laughter, and enjoying a pastime that’s as fun as it is mentally stimulating. You can play for 10 minutes or for hours. And whether you’re an old pro at bridge or just learning how to play Canasta, there always seems to be room at the table.
