W ASHINGTON DC — An investment affiliate of Bern- stein Management Cor- poration (BMC) , one of the regional leaders in real estate investment and management, has completed the acquisition of The Shay retail condomini - ums, consisting of 27,000 s/f of ground floor retail situated directly below its existing multifamily asset The Shay, located across two buildings at 1921 and 1924 8th Streets NW in the Shaw submarket of Washington D.C. Built in 2015, The Shay retail is home to leading destination retailers includ - ing Warby Parker, Le Labo, Union Kitchen Grocery and Rewild as well as eateries including Cracked Eggery, Gogi Yogi, Compass Coffee and Cava.
