The Nuveen Green Capital team, led by Shelah Wallace, Senior Director, Originations, partnered with the Philadelphia Energy Authority and Molly Skilton, VP, Community Lending, of Citizens Bank to close the first energy efficient C- PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) multifamily project for the Riverwards Group, as well as the first multifamily project in Pennsylvania to take advantage of C-PACE financing after the amendment expanded the program to include multifamily properties. Broker: Brad Domenico, Partner of Progress Capital On behalf of Maddd Equities, LLC, Brad Domenico successfully secured funds to refinance the iconic unique space known as Bridgemarket, located under the Queensboro Bridge in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. With a legacy spanning a century, Bridgemarket, a 100,000 s/f marketplace, is home to notable tenants such as Gustavino’s, T.J. Maxx, Ship Essentials, and Trader Joe’s, all dedicated to providing elegant, valuable, convenient, and high-quality offerings. Brad’s pivotal role in arranging the refinancing not only ensures that Bridgemarket will continue shaping the city’s narrative, but also emphasizes the significance of strategic financial decisions in preserving and enhancing the essence of New York City’s iconic landmarks.
Cushman & Wakefield successfully navigated numerous stakeholders through the intense capital markets headwinds of 2023 to secure joint venture equity and construction financing for the 1.3 MSF class A development project, bringing together an impressive array of domestic and foreign institutional capital to execute the largest industrial project in the greater Washington D.C. area in 2023, and one of the largest industrial developments in the country to be capitalized in 2023. NCBP is a 442-acre, multi-phased development site situated in Prince George’s County, one of the highest barrier-to-entry submarkets in the Mid- Atlantic. The first phase of the project comprises five development sites across 94 acres totaling 1.3 MSF, and is 30% pre-leased to Ferguson, the largest plumbing supply distributor in the US.
