WHY WE GIVE CHAD & MANDI ALBERT
Blakely (‘33), Chad, Palmer (‘36), Mandi, and Millie (‘38) Albert joined the Levine community in 2020. Chad is very involved in the Jewish community and Mandi chaired the Levine Gala auction committee and volunteers with the Parent Association.
What inspires you to give to Levine Academy? We’re staunch believers in cultivating a strong Jewish identity for our girls, and Levine has wildly surpassed our expectations in helping to achieve that. What do you hope your children learn from your philanthropic giving? We hope they learn to feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to give, rather than to receive. How have the teachers at Levine impacted your family? All three of our daughters have developed strong bonds with their teachers each school year. We know the school and the teachers have the children’s best interests at heart, and it shows through the children’s love and affection for their teachers. We continue to be impressed with our children’s emotional and cognitive advancements through the teachings at Levine!
Why is supporting scholarships important to you? We believe every child who desires a Judaic- centered education should have the opportunity to receive one. Supporting scholarships helps ensure that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of a meaningful, values-driven education. Do you have any advice for anyone considering a gift to Levine Academy? We love the quote from Anne Frank where she says, “No one has ever become poor by giving.” When you find an organization you’re truly passionate about, give at a level that stretches you just a bit—it’s in that space where the most meaningful impact happens. Supporting a place like Levine Academy is something you’ll never regret.
