ADMISSION DECISION: End of November, student must confirm 1 week after notification. If family failed to accept placement before the deadline, the seat is forfeited and offered to a student on the IB waitlist.
NOTES: o
Successful candidates usually make mostly A’s and B’s, have a composite achievement score in the 88th percentile or above, and demonstrate good command of the English language and writing abilities. In addition, it is important to be disciplined with excellent organizational skills. o Parents and students MUST attend the information night or call Karen Stanton to make other arrangements, if necessary. Packets will be distributed. o Pre-IB Program (9th and 10th grade) held at Plano East o IB Program (11th and 12th grade) held at Plano East High School o Students outside of PISD may be admitted if qualified and selected. If there is an IB program in your home school district, you cannot apply to PISD-IB. Please call Karen Stanton for information.
