Social Media Policy

Carefully read the Frenchman’s Creek Computer, Internet and Email policy and Frenchman’s Creek Harassment/Discrimination policies in the Employee Handbook to ensure your postings are consistent with these policies. Inappropriate postings that may include discriminatory remarks, harassment, and threats of violence or similar inappropriate or unlawful conduct will not be tolerated and may subject you to disciplinary action up to and including termination. Inappropriate postings may also be perceived as complaints or criticism, or the use of statements, photographs, videos or audio that reasonably could be viewed as malicious, obscene, threatening, or intimidating, that may disparage members, their families and guests, other employees, vendors or others who perform work on behalf of Frenchman’s Creek, might constitute harassment, discrimination or bullying. Examples of such conduct might include offensive posts which are meant to intentionally harm someone’s reputation or posts that could contribute to a hostile work environment based on an individual’s protected status can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
