Fortis Solutions Group Acquires Quality Tape & Label Fortis Solutions Group LLC, a provider of printed packaging solutions and a portfolio company of Main Post Partners, has announced the acquisition of Quali- ty Tape & Label, Marietta, Georgia. Founded in 1979 by Cecil and Myrl Daniels and run today by Rick and Rob Daniels, Quality Tape & Label specializes in providing digital shrink sleeves, flex- ible packaging and pressure sensitive labels to the craft beer, nutraceutical, food and health and beauty end-markets. Rob Daniels will remain in a leadership role with the company. Armor Group Announces Acquisition Of IIMAK The Armor Group has acquired IIMAK (International Imaging Materials, Inc.).The combined thermal trans- fer activity will be called Armor-IIMAK with consoli- dated revenues of more than $400 million. Hubert de Boisredon, chairman and CEO of the AR- MOR Group, says, “Convinced of its strategic impor- tance, I have actively pursued this merger and am especially proud today to be able to announce this acquisition. Our main objective will be to unify our strengths in order to benefit our customers, partners and employees.” Both companies share a history dating back to the 1980s through a shared license from the Japanese company Fujicopian until 1998. Armor-IIMAK now has 1,650 employees producing more than 2.5 billion square meters of thermal transfer ribbon. Christian Le- fort, who only recently joined the Armor Group, will be leading the entity. Doug Wagner, CEO of IIMAK, has been appointed President of ARMOR-IIMAK Americas.
