ARPA District VI Basketball Tournament February 26, 2022 Dothan will host the Alabama Recreation and Parks Association District Six 14 and Under and 18 and Under Basketball tournaments. Come watch some local high-level competition.

Westgate Park Northcutt Field $5 per session Angela Dunning, adunning@hitsforheroes.org Hits for Heroes is a charitable organization dedicated to raising awareness of wounded serve members, financially aiding service organizations, and sponsoring athletic events that accomplish these goals. This baseball event allows our community, as well as all of the teams participating to get to know and better understand what our Heroes have been through. It is a perfect partnership of America’s favorite pastime with America’s Heroes! All proceeds are used to help support local Veteran programs. Location: Fee: Coordinator: Tennis National Level 2 - Boys 14's Feb. 12-14, 2022 (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.) Westgate Tennis Center has been awarded this prestigious tournament to be held February 12 – 14, 2022. Visitors will enjoy watching national-level boys compete in both singles and doubles during this three-day event. Hundreds of boys will apply to play in this tournament. Only the top 32 players will be accepted, so you can see the field of competitors is elite! Dothan Civic Center $6 per day An annual AHSAA sanctioned single elimination High School Basketball Tournament featuring local High Schools competing for the title of Downtown Dothan Hoops Classic Champion. All net proceeds from the tournament are given back to the participating teams. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Contact Rhonda Kirk at rkirk@dothan.org for sponsorship details. They specialize in trail running and mountain bike races. Go Nuts Racing holds an event, annually, at the Forever Wild Trails. It is a weekend event with the trail running races being held on Saturday and the mountain Go Nuts Racing Jan. 29-30, 2022 (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

options. Mountain bikers can choose from 6.5-mile, 13 mile, or 19.5 mile options. All racing is individual. Awards are given in standard racing age categories.
